It's a great example of using passive solar to lower heating/cooling bills.
There is a great room facing south in the home with high cathedral ceilings, 3 sky lights (1 that opens)and 2 large fans. In the summer these fans can be set to draw the hot air up and out of the home through the skylights while circulating air from the outside but always keeping things moving. In winter set the fans down to circulate and push down the warmer air. You'd be amazed at the results and the savings.
